The new online platform for women activewear in Hong Kong has just launched! She Collective carries a range of brands, that the two founders – childhood friends Olive and Rosann – have selected from Australia, California, Canada or Hong Kong. All different but all with an edge…
Some are ethically, sustainably made (like Inner Fire); some emphasize the fashion touch for a chic twist (like Karma or L’Urv); some work with artists to create unique prints and designs (Miss Runner); some focus on being affordable, functional and flattering (Onzie or Running Bare); some want to be THE option from the gym to the streets, from day to night (Rese); some are a mix between art and science, mixing compression fabrics and flattering designs (Stryda); some infuse style and function, to get the most fashion-forward luxury athleisure bags (Sol and Selene).
All together, they make She Collective the virtual place to find sportswear for women to feel comfortable and confident, from the studio to the street.

I’ve personally put to the test a few items from different brands She Collective carries…
I liked the “Kara Tee” top by Karma very much! Very nice, soft and light to wear and I love the back mesh panel making it breathable but also quite sexy. As it’s a relaxed fit, cropped in the front, I’d wear it more out of the gym or to cool down after my session than for training really, but that’s definitely a great athleisure piece!
The “Picasso Bloom” shorts by Stryda are a 2 in 1, which makes them quite special: colorful printed compression undershorts, under a black sheer layer. So no awkwardness in any position while training, thanks to the close-fitting underlayer. But your curves are not completely “out there” either for the shiest ones, thanks to the outer layer, making it more comfortable and creating a very nice effect with the pattern under.
I’m not surprised that the “Eva Power Mesh” bra by Rese is a bestseller. Classic go-to sports bra with mesh on the back for increased ventilation, it gives a great support and is comfortable to wear.
The “Pixel Glow” capris by Stryda were a great surprise. All the items of the brand are designed by physiotherapists, podiatrists and PTs, bringing together science and aesthetics. So you end up with thermo-regulated compression black fabric (erasing all body’s imperfections at the same time by the way!) paired with vented muscle straps (in beautiful designs), positioned over key zones to prevent you from overheating during exercise and keep you warm at rest. They’ve basically mastered the performance and style mix.
My big favorite is the “Trendsetter” handbag by Sol and Selene. I have tons of bags and a lot in the same proportions, that I initially got to be my everyday companion, able to go with me to the gym, the office and finally to dinner out or even a trip… But a very few match the bill. This one is a winner!
Light, but strong, many pockets inside and outside, a removable nylon laundry bag, enough space to carry a change of clothes, my lunch, A4 documents, my laptop… and all that with a very urban and elegant look, in nylon and vegan leather. It’s so easy to take anywhere that we became inseparable!
