IRIS is back on May 27-28 with some health and wellness for the whole family

After four editions since its launch in 2015, IRIS: Your Escape – HK’s largest health and wellness festival – is back, at the Nursery Park, West Kowloon Cultural District, on the weekend of May 27-28!

Initially planned two weeks earlier, plans changed due to the weather forecast. It gives you a bit more time to grab your ticket and get ready for two days of fun! Let’s have a look at what’s on the cards…

Yoga being the foundation on which the festival has been built, it’s naturally at the center of it, on The Yoga Main Stage, with sessions led by the best yoga teachers, so bring your mat yoginis!

For a more intimate atmosphere and experience, head to The Meditation Garden, where teachers, healers, speakers, and an International Buddhist Monk will share their wisdom and insight to help you start your meditation journey or take it to the next level.

If you want to get involved in something a bit more active, break a sweat or just discover something new, The Discovery Zone is for you! Capoeira, kickboxing, circuits and many other activities will be awaiting you there.

Last but not least, The Health & Wellness Marketplace is the one that I personally dread as I know it can be terrible… for my wallet! It gathers more than 60 vendors this year (offering loads of special deals for the occasion), so I won’t start listing them but we’re talking about food, drinks, activewear, swimwear, accessories, gyms, wellness products…

The event is totally family friendly, with a proper Family Zone offering exciting activities for the young ones like face painting, art-jamming or family-style yoga.

If you’re not into shopping and you’d rather remain a spectator, I bet all the music and art performances will easily keep you entertained!

You can buy your pass online here or at the door. But if you buy them online beforehand it’s cheaper; and even cheaper with the discount code IRIS20, that will give you 20% off!
