What if I told you that you can get a free workout and do a good deed for the environment at the same time? Would I get your attention? I hope so because it’s happening!

Clean The Beach Boot Camp is coming to Hong Kong,

at Shek O Beach, on August 19th, from 9:45 am to 12:45!

Clean The Beach Boot Camp (CBBC) is a global movement, created 4 years ago in Thailand, completely free, with a very simple concept: “First we train… then we clean”. In other words, they offer a free boot camp – run by a professional and fully qualified trainer – and in return for the workout, all participants help clean up the beach.

CBBC is a worldwide charity and its numbers speak for themselves: more than 1800 beach clean ups, 511800 kg of trash collected, 32500 people trained. Over the last four years, CBBC has expanded from just a Phuket Boot Camp to multiple Boot Camps in Thailand to reaching out into countries such as Indonesia, China, India, Kuwait, Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam.

If you want to have an idea of what the event looks like:

The workout on Shek O Beach will be run by Krix Luther, experienced Personal Trainer, specialized in Strength and Conditioning, former professional Thai Boxer, based in Thailand (Rawai, Phuket). Strong environment advocate, he’s also the founder of CBBC.

Schedule on the day:

9:45 – Meet On the Beach
10:00 – Free Workout by Krix Luther
11:00 – Beach Clean Up
12:00 – Lunch/Hangout together

It’s the first edition in Hong Kong but their founder is planning to train up another Personal Trainer or Yoga Instructor to take it over… So if you think you have what it takes, reach out!

It’s also kids friendly so bring along the little ones and go for a good sweat and a good deed!
