“The universe is made of stories, not of atoms.” – Muriel Rukeyser

V – Fitness enthusiast, people-lover, storyteller

Who am I?

My name is Vanessa Ruzzica. Born in France, I have been calling Hong Kong home since 2011.

I’ve always loved writing. In Paris, the UK and now Hong Kong, I have been PR and communication manager for artists, fashion, luxury, and well-being brands.

I became here more active than ever and naturally made fitness a way of life. I’m today also the Fitness Editor of the online magazine Hongkongmadame.com.

Why V fit stories?

To put my passions for writing and for fitness together and share what makes fitness amazing to me: the stories behind fitness trainers, athletes and the experience you’ll live in different places.

You don’t need me to tell you where to go, where to find a gym, but I’d like to bring you more about the experience you’ll live there and who you’ll meet. Because in the end, it’s not about the place, the equipment or the activity, it’s about people and feelings.

Writing ethics

The posts on Vfitstories.com are not bought by any brand, so even if it’s totally personal, my point of view is not biased. I choose who/what I write about. If I don’t have a good experience somewhere or with something, I choose to not talk about it (so no negative review neither).

I may on a personal level train more regularly in some places, be a fan of some brands etc. but this is only my choice as I believe in what they do and it works for me personally.
